New Android App Unveils “My Cards” View

Go from your list of cards to card details in one tap.

LeanKit is thrilled to announce our first app for Android. With this release, we’re unveiling a new mobile design concept that makes it easier to stay connected while you’re on the go.

Making updates on the go

What to Expect

Our LeanKit for Android app introduces a new “MyCards” view that displays your assigned cards (and the cards you’re subscribed to) as a list. This is designed to help you stay focused on what you need to do next and easily update your cards. You can view and edit the details of those cards and move them to completed lanes with just a few swipes. Your MyCards view shows when new cards are assigned to you or when team members make changes to your existing cards.

Any changes that you make from your device are instantly visible to anyone working in the main board back at the office. You can make the update while it’s on your mind so it won’t get lost in the shuffle.

How MyCards Works with Your Boards

Our fully featured browser application is great for seeing the whole team’s plan. Many teams display their board(s) on a regular or touchscreen monitor to facilitate group discussions.

The distilled view on the LeanKit for Android App gives you a personalized look at the tasks that are most important to you.

The mobile app is designed to complement the browser app, giving you the right level of visibility at the right time and place.

Our Mobile Commitment

Ideas, status updates and new information can happen at any time. It’s crucial to stay up to date and instantly communicate changes to your team. Mobile is a core aspect of how our customers interact with LeanKit, and we’re committed to creating a great experience.

When we built our iOS app, we mirrored most of the features found on our desktop browser application. Designing the LeanKit for Android app gave us the opportunity to reimagine how LeanKit can work on a handheld device. Based on your feedback about the capabilities you want and use most on your mobile devices, we created the MyCards view.
